MG2027 Production Engineering - Project Course

A minimum of 45 credits wuíthin the TPRMM Master programme
In the course, you carry out a project, to solve a production engineering task provided by industry, in a group of fellow students. The focus/character of the task can vary depending on the company business, its size and its current needs.
After passing the course, the student will be able to:
- use relevant models and practices for developing, comparing and suggesting solutions to a production engineering problem provided by industry
- use knowledge and skills acquired in previous courses, and gather additional knowledge when required
- write and formulate a well structured technical report that in a clearly defines the problem, describes the methodology for approaching and solving the problem, and outlines the result
- orally present and motivate the results
- argue for selected methods and presented result and their reliability, when criticized
- evaluate and criticize another project and its results
- organise and manage a long-lasting and complex project, considering the project provider, the supervisor and the project group
