FMF3036 Reviewing Scientific Articles

The course is primarily open to young scholars (PhD students, postdocs, early career assistant professors), working in the fields of creativity, innovation management and related areas.
The course is organized in 3 different seminars as well as preparations in the form of reading and homework.
The course focuses on:
introduction to the publication and review process, review practices and how to review articles, ethics and practical exercises to review articles.Each student receives clear feedback on the review tasks included.
After finished the course the students should be able to:
- Be aware of good reviewing practices and ethics
- Know how to analyze and evaluate scientific papers
- Be able to skillfully develop reviews of scientific papers, and to justify and motivate reviewer recommendations to editor(s) and author(s)
